Mobile operator takes a revenue share on each transaction for handling billing, collecting money and covering credit risk. The operators then pay the remaining money (usually between 40% and 60% depending on end-user price) to Fortumo. Fortumo pays you the money received from operators minus a small commission (which can be only 2-3% of end-user price, depending on country, type of service and volume). The table above shows your revenue after the operator's share and Fortumo commission.

Fortumo pays you money immediately after we have received it from the mobile operators. Operators in different countries pay at different speeds. Payout cycle of 3 months means that the revenue earned by your services in January will be transferred to you in the first half of May.
After the initial waiting period, you would get a payout each month, as your February money arrives in June, March money in July, etc.

The service must be in compliance with Fortumo Terms of Service, PhonepayPlus regulations, British legal acts and good morals.
In the advertisements and instructions, the following information must be present:
- the end-user price of the service,
- a notice saying that the price is added to the phone bill or deducted from the prepaid card
- service provider's legal name and British customer support phone number / e-mail.
The end user price must be clearly stated in the advertisements and instructions of use. Price info must be in same color and size as other marketing materials and placed horizontally.
Consumers must be fully and clearly informed of all information likely to influence the decision to purchase, including the cost, before any purchase is made.
Consumers of service are treated fairly and equitably.
Service providers must take all reasonable steps to discourage use by non-bill payers and to prevent use by those under 18 years of age.
Services must not cause the unreasonable invasion of consumers’ privacy. Consumers’ personal information is not collected without their consent or passed to any other person.
Betting tip, employment, remote gambling, donation and adult content related services are strictly forbidden.
Customer is limited to spending £30 per day. Exceeding amounts will not be billed.
