Badoo (part of MagicLab) is the largest dating network in the world with over 471 million users across 190 countries and is available in 47 languages.

Badoo’s core audiences are located in two regions globally: Europe and Latin America

In Europe the primary challenge Badoo faces is payment conversion: online credit card checkout is a lengthy process, which results in a large number of users dropping off during the payment process. 

In Latin America and other emerging markets, the primary challenge is payment access: while the majority of people in these regions already have a smartphone, credit card ownership is low and many people are unable to make online payments.

To overcome these challenges, Badoo uses Fortumo’s Web SDK product to achieve global payment coverage with localized checkout flows and end-to-end lifecycle management for subscriptions.
