What is the purpose and content of this role?

Your career at Fortumo will start as a Business Development Manager. In this role, your main goal is to sell Fortumo services to new high-profile global merchants, to support their user and revenue growth. You will manage the whole sales cycle (mostly outbound) from prospecting, reach-out and lead validation to sales pitch, proposal and closing + actually launching merchants on our platform. To make things even more interesting you are usually also responsible for market segment analyse prior to prospecting. Your success will be measured based on the revenue your customers are able to generate.

    Skills and requirements, we expect from you:

    • to have at least 3+ years of experience in B2B sales roles in payments or software industry
    • to have a track record of accomplished sales results and targets that you are proud of
    • to have excellent communication skills and fluency in English, other languages are bonus
    • to take initiative proactively, work independently and efficiently without close supervision
    • to be a quick learner and enjoy work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
    • to be stress-tolerant and able to deal with multiple competing topics at the same time
    • to have experience in project management and have delivered custom solutions for business partners
    • to know the meaning of sale abbreviations like SQL, SDR, BDM, CTA, CR, MRR, DAU, MAU without Googling them
    • to have some international experience
