What is the purpose and content of this role?

Your career at Fortumo will start as a Finance Specialist. In this role, you'll be a part of our Finance team and your responsibilities include day to day accounting and closing of accounts (making payments, documenting transactions), helping to prepare income statements, file monthly tax declarations (KMD, TSD), cash flow reports, balance sheet and deal with mobile operator reports. Other tasks include ensuring smooth cash flow, successful money collection, and communication with foreign partners. In addition, you will be helping the Finance team with various other tasks.

    Skills and requirements, we expect from you:

    • to have a few years of experience in accounting
    • to be proficient in MS Word, Excel, etc.
    • to be detail-oriented and keen on keeping accurate payment and account status
    • to be able to multitask and plan your schedule efficiently
    • to be able to build good relationships, both internally and with partners
    • to like solving problems and take initiative to improve the existing processes
    • to have experience in an international environment
