What is the purpose and content of this role?

You will be responsible for Fortumo's legal framework and will work with other legal counsels in Fortumo and in the Boku group to safeguard our business by ensuring that the company follows legal guidelines and to provide our employees legal advice on a variety of issues.

This role's fundamental purpose is to provide our company with legal advice, manage our legal framework, draft, analyse and review legal documents and to carry out negotiations with key partners, prepare internal policies, and monitor compliance.

We are looking for Head of Legal to oversee all legal aspects of our business. You are a good fit when you are a law enthusiast who enjoys working with documentation.

    Knowledge and expertise that matters:

    • MasterĀ“s degree (or equivalent) in law
    • 5+ years experience in contract law
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the law and willingness to work with different jurisdictions
    • Experience and interest in analyzing and negotiating complex legal documents
    • Skilled in legal risk management and prevention
    • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think systematically
    • Habit to focus and act as the owner of the business
    • Detail-oriented
    • Outstanding communication skills in verbal and written English
